The Wall Street Journal seeks a New-York based audio producer for its podcasting team. The audio producer will work with editors and reporters in the newsroom, as well as with video colleagues. The main role of the audio producer will be to produce exploratory, narrative, magazine, subject-specific feature podcasts.
Some key responsibilities will include researching topics, sourcing timely news, recording studio and field interviews, partnering with news reporters and proposing new and original ideas.
Candidates must have at least three years’ experience serving as an audio producer in a daily news environment, the ability to tell business, market, tech and science stories, track record of producing quality audio content and be a clear communicator.
