Wired is seeking an editor-writer to help guide daily science coverage online and to drive our strategy initiatives across platforms.
Uncovering emerging trends in research, explaining breaking news, analyzing controversial results, diving deep into exciting fields—we’re doing all of it, both as rapid-response and on a daily basis. Urgency is critical here.
The ideal candidate will know how to identify the science important to Wired readers and figure out how to turn it into a compelling story. This job is way more than just translating scientific authority into plain English. It’s about finding hidden stories that only science can explain and telling tales about the people making world-altering discoveries.
