WIRED hiring senior writer

WIRED is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced senior writer to join their newsroom and cover various threads. The company seeks prolific writers who are driven to break news and provide contextual analysis to stories, and who are deeply curious about the intersections of tech and culture around the world.

The writer will be responsible for writing two or three stories per week, collaborating with editors, developing and maintaining reporting sources, writing breaking news stories on entertainment and working with the social, photo and video teams.

Candidates must posses strong writing skills, experience writing breaking news stories, a fundamental understanding of technology and a portfolio of sources within the entertainment industry, the online culture world or both.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco or New York.
