The Wichita Business Journal is looking for an experienced, motivated, passionate, multi-platform journalist with editing experience to run the day-to-day operations of the newsroom.
Duties:
Run the morning meeting; Work with reporters on daily web posts, weekly reporter pages and cover stories; Coordinate production of special publications; Oversee production of the weekly print edition; oversee most of the planning for the news operation; other duties as assigned by editor.
Skills:
Strong organizational and copy editing skills; Confident coach of reporters and staffers of various experience levels; Vision for success in a digital world and for journalism with impact.
Experience:
3-5 years preferred.
