The Managing Editor, Digital is responsible for creating and managing compelling news and feature content for WFYI’s digital platforms and other news products. This position will work closely with the Director, News, and the editorial team to set digital news initiatives to serve a larger, more diverse audience. They will also execute advanced digital tactics and lead a team of content producers and journalists to create digital content complementary to both web and broadcast news. This mission-critical role will help both WFYI and WBAA extend our reach and impact local, statewide, regional, and national policy equity reporting.

That newsroom is the home of notable, award-winning local, statewide, regional, and national journalism and community engagement initiatives. It provides news to all audiences, without a paywall, and it partners and shares content with other publications – including all public media newsrooms in Indiana, the Indianapolis Recorder, the Associate Press, the Indianapolis Business Journal and ChalkBeat Indiana.
