Westchester County Biz Journal seeks reporter

The Westchester County Business Journal, a weekly newspaper and daily online business news publication, seeks an experienced, inquisitive, versatile reporter for its wide-ranging coverage of Westchester County’s business, not-for-profit and government sectors.

Journalists with a minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience at a news publication are preferred. Recent college and journalism school graduates who have worked on student publications and can show strong writing samples will be considered.

The full-time position requires use of a camera to accompany reporting and an ability to work under deadline pressure in a demanding newsroom environment.

Founded in 1968, the Westchester County Business Journal is a publication of Westfair Communications Inc. in White Plains. The company also publishes the weekly Fairfield County Business Journal and WAG magazine.

Applicants should send a cover letter, resume and at least three writing samples to John Golden, Westchester Bureau Chief, at jgolden@westfairinc.com.
