The Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, W.Va., a city of about 50,000, is seeking an experienced reporter to fill a position with a focus on business news.
The position involves daily business stories, a weekly column of business-related notes and a weekly in-depth business-related story, either a profile or trend piece. Desired traits include initiative, excellent reporting and writing skills, and the ability to craft stories with impact and context.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of news experience and proven capabilities.
