The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing and project management skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. We are especially interested in hearing from people who have experience generating new products and finding large audiences for them: A key goal for this position will be finding fresh ways to showcase columns produced during Michelle’s remarkable 25-year career writing “The Color of Money,” and building on what is already a broad, deep and devoted community of readers.

Please consider applying if you meet most of these requirements: a minimum of three years’ experience in journalism, a history of growing audiences through search, a demonstrated ability to work with reporters and editors, and experience using analytics to make real-time and strategic decisions. Experience with audience strategy is a plus, as this role will use data to inform decision-making. Applicants also must be passionate about personal finance and love to read advice.
This position is based in our Washington newsroom and will not be eligible for remote work.
The Post strives to provide its readers with high-quality, trustworthy news and information while constantly innovating. That mission is best served by a diverse, multi-generational workforce with varied life experiences and perspectives. All cultures and backgrounds are welcomed.
