The position will require the candidate to cover technology broadly, but also define more specific areas of technology coverage that will differentiate our reporting.
We’re looking for someone with a proven history of producing scoops and who wants to translate the tech industry for a broad audience. Ideal candidates should have a background covering tech, though candidates with a strong record of covering other beats will also be considered.
This job requires close collaboration with our video teams, our HBO shows, and our planning departments. Candidates should strong interest in what works on social media, and how platforms are shaping media, culture, and politics.
