Vehicle History is looking for writers

Popular high-traffic auto website VehicleHistory.com has exciting plans for 2022, and we’re recruiting experienced Freelance Automotive Writers to join our team of regular contributors of high-quality content. This is an excellent remote freelance opportunity if you enjoy doing deep-dive research and writing authoritative automotive content that educates, inspires, and builds a loyal reader-base.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Vehicle History strives to be the most trusted and comprehensive used vehicle research site on the internet. We research hundreds of models each year to help you gain confidence about one of your largest purchase decisions. Vehicle History was founded in 2015 and is independently owned. This means we will never recommend a vehicle which we do not truly believe is great, and we will never embellish or prioritize more favorable information about a car to make it seem better than it is.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You should know your LCs from your SCs, your Hiluxes from your Highlanders, and your King Ranches from your Raptors just as well as you know your semicolons from your em-dashes.

If you’re an experienced shadetree mechanic, classic car restorer, master at modding trucks, or have a similar area of automotive expertise as well as excellent writing skills, we welcome hearing from you, too. We can work with you and guide you to becoming a regular contributor of original professional-quality automotive content.

We’ll provide the topics, training and competitive rates, and you’ll deliver the expert-level auto knowledge and excellent writing.

COMPENSATION

  • $150 per article, on average 800 to 900 words
