Variety seeks TV business reporter

Variety Variety Variety is hiring a reporter to cover the TV business. We are seeking a strong writer who is well-connected with good sources within the TV industry, from executives to agents to publicists.

Must be passionate about breaking news, with an eye for exclusives.

The right candidate will be able to identify and report on breaking news and bigger picture TV stories.

Requirements:

Solid TV industry reporting experience (3+ years)
Be able to analyze, interpret, and break hard news
Build pipeline to report exclusives
Be a self-starter, enterprising
Must be willing to work in our West Los Angeles office
