US News seeks real estate editor

The Real Estate team at U.S. News & World Report is seeking a Real Estate Editor with a deep passion for real estate journalism.

The editor will manage a daily publication schedule with a mix of evergreen and news stories, write several stories per week, produce photo galleries and contribute to social media efforts. This position is based in the U.S. News office, located in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications:

·         3+ years writing and editing for a digital publication

·         Knowledge of and passion for real estate topics

·         Proven writing and editing skills

·         Ability to multitask and work on deadlines in a fast-paced journalism environment

·         Exceptional communication and organizational skills

·         Strong understanding of SEO and experience with online analytics reporting

·         Savvy with social media
