UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA is looking for writers

UCGHI is looking for diverse voices to interview key stakeholders and write engaging feature sorites and secondary stories related to the Institute’s initiatives and collaborators for our monthly newsletters. Expertise in global health topics is not a requirement, but we seek writers that show an enthusiasm for public health and global health related themes, and an initiative to learn about these topics.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA GLOBAL HEALTH INSTITUTE (UCGHI) is a UC-wide Institute that stimulates, nurtures, and promotes global health research, education, and collaboration to advance the University’s global health agenda. Our projects and collaborators (students, faculty, fellows, staff and global health community members) come from a variety of disciplines to better understand factors and realities impacting health.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

COMPENSATION

  •  $200 – $500 depending on level of experience and type of assignment.
  • Feature Story – 700-750 words
  • Secondary Story – 500- 550 words
