Twinfinite is looking for gaming writers

Twinfinite, a destination for upbeat video game guides, news, features, quizzes, and reviews, is recruiting personable and talented freelance writers.

Post types include gameplay guides for new releases and live service games, SEO/Top 10 lists, traffic-driving features, reviews of new releases, and breaking news on select titles, companies, and gaming brands.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Twinfinite is an established brand that has operated since 2012 and is now looking to scale up by adding to our roster of hard-working freelance writers. In 2022, Twinfinite was acquired by GAMURS Group and is now under new ownership and management.

EXPERIENCE

All applicants must have excellent English writing skills and be self-starters who can complete assigned news, guides, and features in a timely manner without extensive edits and supervision. We require a minimum of 25 posts per month, but you are able to write much more.

Competitive applicants will have in-depth knowledge about a wide variety of the most popular single-player and live service video games and/or entertainment IPs and stay on top of current trending news and topics within the industry. Although not required, familiarity with using Google Trends to direct coverage is a plus.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Submit a resume, a short cover letter detailing your writing experience and your interest in the gaming or entertainment industry, and at least two relevant writing samples. Expert knowledge of live-service games is advantageous. Note: A cover letter and clips are required to be considered.

COMPENSATION

  •  Rates are $10 for news articles and quick question/answer guides, $20 for gameplay guides and shorter features, and $30 for reviews, longer guides and features, interviews, and quizzes. There is no cap on how much you can write, as long as your pitches are approved or you select from our ample list of pre-approved topics.
