TribLIVE.com/Tribune-Review seeks a digital producer

TribLIVE.com, one of the most visited news websites in Western Pennsylvania, has a full-time opening for a Digital Producer. The position requires someone who is quick, energetic and creative, and can work in a fast-paced, demanding news environment. Members of our digital team help manage and produce content for our website and social media platforms. They take the lead in monitoring digital output to ensure content is posted quickly, efficiently and accurately. They are constantly identifying opportunities to increase audience and engage our readers.

Qualifications: 

  • Sharp news judgment. Strong record of producing online content
  • 3-5 years of experience in a content-producing role in a newsroom
  • Detail-oriented, strong writing and grammar skills
  • Experience with social media platforms
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and other metrics
  • Ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure
  • Learn and utilize best practices for digital tools and local content to boost website traffic
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to embrace strategic direction and goals
  • Familiarity with the latest news practices as they play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to increase website traffic

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, multimedia or related field
  • Ability to work some night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
