Topia is looking for writers! We are looking for ongoing long-term good working relationships with writers/columnists.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

TOPIA is a guide to an extraordinary world in metamorphosis—a kaleidoscopic look at culture and positive impact. Packed with matters that impact everyone from design to conservation, TOPIA takes curious minds on a round-the-world trip, shining a spotlight on the remarkable people (and creatures) keeping our planet cool.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Contributors are always attributed well with a colourful ‘Meet the writer’ section, with a byline, bio and profile paragraph with links to your social media profiles, your website, and a linked portfolio of TOPIA work. Each one of your published pieces is given a TOPIA-style creative ‘treatment’ when it is pushed on social channels – and within our very engaged newsletter audience to promote it as best as we can.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • ~$160- $270 per article- We are a new culture and positive impact magazine. We are just starting out, but try to offer a fair word rate, per-story fixed fees and multiple feature packages, with rates depending on experience/feature complexity.
