Time is seeking a technology correspondent to write and report across all platforms for our 70-million-strong global audience.
This individual will work with a team in reporting daily for Time.com as well as writing front-of-book, feature and cover stories for the weekly magazine. This is an excellent opportunity for a writer deeply sourced in the topic who has a desire to tell rich narrative stories and drive daily online conversation.
At least three years previous journalism experience. Experience developing news-driven ideas into high-impact features, writing for the web and working within a content management tool is essential. Experience writing product reviews is a plus. The ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment and take objective criticism in a positive fashion is needed in this role.
An ability to juggle multiple assignments, generate an endless supply of new story ideas, and a facility for reporting and writing on very tight, sometimes hourly, deadlines are also musts. We’re looking for someone who is highly dedicated, wants to travel, and can tell complex stories in compelling ways. Salary is competitive.
