The Washington Post is seeking an outstanding video journalist with a proven track record of standout reporting to join our award-winning video department. This is a nationally focused video position that covers a vast variety of reporting lanes, from aggressively responding to major breaking news events to driving groundbreaking investigative and enterprise projects.
This role requires the ability to juggle multiple assignments, moving swiftly from quick edits to long-term enterprise subjects as required. Exceptional videography and Adobe Premiere editing skills are a must along with strong script writing and time management abilities.
Knowledge of – and enthusiasm for – how audiences engage with video, both horizontally and vertically, is essential. We are looking for collaborative colleagues who recognize that success requires teamwork and selflessness.
