The Tennessean is seeking an aggressive reporter to produce multimedia content about retail businesses in Davidson County.
This reporter will be the No. 1 most trusted expert when it comes to openings, closings, expansions, issues and trends about retail in Davidson County. This reporter will work as a team with the retail reporter covering Davidson County, and will be expected to work collaboratively with the team of reporters covering all aspects of life in Davidson County.
The ideal candidate will produce high-impact, enterprise journalism and engage with readers through platforms such as social media, digital chats, events, and comments about retail news.
Responsibilities include researching, writing, and reporting compelling journalism that continuously grows a fan base by informing and engaging readers; providing thoughtful analysis of complex issues; producing watchdog journalism that leads to change; and contributing to the community’s greater good through impactful journalism.
