The Shreveport-Bossier Advocate – part of the largest news organization in Louisiana — is seeking a photojournalist to lead the visual coverage of the community through photos and video. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable covering everything from breaking crime news and sports to food and politics in the Shreveport-Bossier City area and who can help manage freelance photographers.
The photojournalist will work as part of a team of 10 journalists to launch and produce a new, daily digital news product – including a website, daily newsletters, an app and social media platforms. We’re looking for a dynamic journalist who thrives in a startup environment and consistently seeks new ways to engage readers while upholding our standards of fairness and accuracy.
