The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Western Pennsylvania’s largest newspaper, is looking for an ambitious and innovative journalist to cover one of America’s most dynamic health communities. We are seeking an inquisitive reporter to write evidence-based stories on topics including fitness and nutrition, mental health, sleep and stress management. The job will include some health news reporting — including but not limited to public health topics of accessible care and disparities — as well as writing service pieces for our growing health section, which aims to help readers take steps to live better lives and learn about medical advancements happening in the Pittsburgh area. We want stories that will not only inform and support readers but surprise and delight them as well.
