The Home team is seeking an assistant editor who will help manage the team, guide The Times’s digital report and use our digital platforms to build stronger relationships with readers. These editors help set the lineups for our home screen, oversee push notifications and direct and execute the framing and targeting of our stories for a variety of audiences. They also help us maintain a sharp focus on short- and long-term objectives, including to build a culture that prizes creativity and initiative. Assistant editors are important collaborators with our colleagues in technology, product and design on evolving forms of journalism and the platforms that deliver it.
