The Upshot is looking for a graphics editor with strong engineering skills to build interactive features that help readers learn about the world in fun, accessible and engaging ways, and expose them to topics they might not otherwise see. You will be a part of small, motivated and autonomous teams, with a high level of independence and responsibility. We move at the pace of our creativity and judgment, while tapping into The Times’s expertise and infrastructure.
Projects will draw upon The Times’s articles, photography, data and archives, and its portfolio of existing games and interactive features. So far, we’ve worked on projects like WordleBot and Spelling Bee Buddy. The goal is for all of this work to resonate with The Times’s audience of curious readers.
