The New Republic is expanding its digital team and looking for an experienced editor with expertise in political analysis, reporting, and opinion to work on an on-call basis during holidays and vacations.
This is a contract position, based either in New York, N.Y., or Washington, D.C. The editor will be expected to edit multiple articles per day that vary widely in length, form, and subject matter.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years of editing experience and strong general-interest knowledge, plus a firm grasp of domestic politics.
