The Markup is hiring for four editorial positions

As of now, four editorial positions are open at The Markup.

The Markup is hiring for an enterprise reporter covering internet, infrastructure and the environment. As part of the enterprise team, you will be responsible for keeping the website fresh, relative and informative through a mix of daily explanatory and enterprise stories. The company is also looking for an enterprise reporter covering labor. In this role, you will cover the effects of technology on work and the labor force. More details available here.

An opening for an enterprise reporter for surveillance and data exploitation is also open. n this role, you will cover the erosion of privacy in just about every aspect of our lives. Click here for more information.

The Markup is also seeking an investigative reporter who will work alongside an investigative data journalist to conduct investigations. Together, they will develop a hypothesis and strategize about data collection techniques. More details here.
