The Lima News, a perennial top-award winner in the Ohio AP Media Editors contest, including being awarded the top newspaper in the state for two of the past three years, seeks an experienced and driven Editor. This dynamic journalist and leader will guide a talented team of reporters in daily coverage in our digital realm as well as a two-edition print product each week.
Our transformation into a 7-day-per-week digital news gathering and sharing information center continues and are looking for a leader who can help take us to the next level and beyond. While we want someone strong in all the usual areas of a newsroom, including the ability to guide reporters on short-turn daily stories as well as enterprise work that competes for space on the home page of LimaOhio.com and the front page of The Lima News, we really need someone who understands how to ensure our success in the digital world.
We are part of AIM Media, an independent newspaper company with 20-plus newspapers across Ohio and others in Indiana and Texas. If you feel you have the experience to continue to lead the print side and the desire to take us even deeper into the digital realm, we want to hear from you! Please send your resume, salary history, and any relevant examples to Publisher Todd Benz at TBenz@aimmediamidwest.com.
