The Hill seeks technology reporters

The Hill is seeking top-notch reporters to join its newsroom and expand its coverage of technology and cyber security online and in print.

The core work of these positions will be to contribute fast and important news posts. Our news organization is the leader in Washington reporting from the intersection of business and policymaking.

This is a rare chance for experienced reporters to get to the leading edge of political and policy reporting while working for a well-established and widely respected newspaper. A thorough understanding of Silicon Valley and Washington is necessary.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
