The Economic Hardship Reporting Project is looking for idea-driven features and op-eds with the theme Re-envisioning Capitalism. There is an interest for those arguing the radical, possible ways to shift away from capitalism and achieve transformative economic justice. Scholars welcome.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The aim of the Economic Hardship Reporting Project is to change the national conversation around poverty and economic insecurity. The journalism EHRP commissions—from narrative features and photo essays to documentary films—endeavors to put a human face on financial instability.

COMPENSATION

  • Rates are $1 a word for features up to 2500 words somewhat less for op-ed’s
