The Brookings Register is seeking a full-time reporter to join our award-winning news team. We publish five times weekly with a professional, community driven staff that focuses on the people and events in Brookings County and the surrounding area.
We’re looking for someone to engage our readers with compelling coverage of our local government, law enforcement and schools, with opportunities to learn about our community while producing compelling profiles, features, and stories. This position will be asked to produce content for advertising special sections from time to time. There is no staff photographer so reporters are expected to take photos, as well.
Requirements:
