TechTimes.com is looking for technology reporters to join its fast growing team. The reporter will be a key contributor to the site, specifically working with editors to generate daily content for the tech section of the technology/science website. Excellent reporting skills, and social media best practices are a must.
The ideal candidate must have expertise in consumer electronics from gadgets and engineering, to reviews and entertainment technology, coupled with solid news judgment. This position reports to the Technology Editor.
Requirements
– Idea generation and excellent research skills
– Knowledge of trending/viral topics with “a finger on the pulse of the Internet”
– Skill in use of social networks, online forums, SEO, etc. to draw and engage readers
– Excellent in English and talent in using images, headlines and other publishing elements to form interesting, compelling and unique/original stories
– Prolific writer and a creative story teller
– Proven track record of writing breaking news, reviews, interviews, features, or scoops on technology-related topics
– At least 2 years online reporting experience for a technology publication
