We are looking for reporters with at least 3-5 years experience in reporting on technology, science and health stories.
The applicant MUST have prior experience in online reporting on technology (personal technology, business technology, future technology), science and health for online news sites.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience and talent in online reporting on technology, science and health topics
2. A prolific writer and a creative story teller
3. Must possess knowldge of generating and drawing online traffic by crafting search engine-friendly (SEO) stories and headlines and using social networks and online groups/forums to promote the stories
4. Eye for trending/viral topics with “a finger on the pulse of the Internet”
5. Excellent in English and have a talent in using images, headlines and other publishing elements to form interesting, compelling and unique/original stories
6. Excellent research skills
7. Accustomed to handling strict deadlines and experience in working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with varied responsibilities
8. Knowledge of AP Style.
9. Must be ready to work on weekends
