Sun Sentinel seeks real estate reporter

The Sun Sentinel is seeking a digitally focused reporter to cover South Florida’s high-end and celebrity real estate market.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong journalism background and a prominent social media presence. The position also requires excellent research and writing skills.

Qualifications:

This reporter should be prepared to spend equal amounts of time digging through listings and crafting engaging narratives and photo galleries covering one of the country’s most interesting high-end real estate markets.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
