The South Florida Sun-Sentinel seeks a real estate reporter.

The Sun-Sentinel seeks an experienced real estate writer who can deliver breaking news and trend stories in the areas of residential and commercial real estate in South Florida. Focus on domestic and international sales and pricing trends, new construction, real estate economics and urban development initiatives.

Digital/multimedia experience required. Comfortable reporting on domestic and international consumers, investors and industry-side players.

Job Qualifications: Three years of real estate writing experience. Demonstrated online following. Strong story development background. Facility with social media, web production and SEO.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
