Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal seeks a beat reporter to cover competitive leagues/industries/companies.
Must have minimum two years of experience developing and breaking news on specific business beat, be competitive in breaking news and have great interest in reporting and writing.
Responsible for filing stories for both daily and weekly publications, with an emphasis on exclusive, breaking news, as well as doing enterprise work, features and profiles. Would also be asked to help program content for industry-leading conferences, and must be comfortable speaking on air and in front of audiences.
Some travel with the position.
