STAT, a national health and medicine publication, is now accepting applications for its internship program. The publication is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student or an early-career journalist who is interested in a career in health, science and medical journalism aimed to join the company in Boston this summer.
As an intern, you will dive right in as a general assignment reporter and be asked to handle both breaking news and to take on profiles, trend pieces and big idea stories. The intern should expect some assignments, including coverage of the latest news from scientific journals, and stories for STAT Plus.
