SportsBusiness Daily seeks an Assistant Managing Editor for its Global publication.
This AME position is the No. 2 spot in the department. The AME would handle news aggregation, line-editing, writing and other tasks. AME would assist the ME in creating and updating story budget, track daily and weekly deadlines and make sure stories are well written and adequately sourced.
Candidates must be able to pick up multiple tasks, must be comfortable with news aggregation, familiar with social media, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Job is based in Charlotte, N.C. Foreign language and Photoshop skills are a major plus.
