The Sports Business Journal is seeking a beat reporter to cover the business of the Olympics.
Coverage would include sponsorship and marketing of Olympic organizations and athletes, media production and strategy, the Olympic bid process and bid city financing, and athlete endorsements, among other areas.
Must have minimum two years of experience developing and breaking news on specific business beats, be competitive in breaking news and have great interest in reporting and writing.
Responsible for filing stories for both daily and weekly publications, with an emphasis on exclusive, breaking news, as well as doing enterprise work, features and profiles. Also would be asked to help program content for industry-leading conferences, and must be comfortable speaking on air and in front of audiences. Some travel with the position.
