We are now accepting pitches for articles by neurodivergent, disabled, and mentally ill writers. We’re accepting pitches for our first issue, and after that, on a rolling basis for future issues.

Deadline: 15 May 2022

ABOUT THE COMPANY

SPECIAL INTEREST MAGAZINE- These aren’t your ordinary magazines. In this selection of specialty magazines you will find a variety of publications covering topics such as food, health and wellness, organization advice, flea markets, holidays and DIY home projects. These special interest magazines are packed from cover to cover with inspiration you will not want to miss out on.

PITCH GUIDELINES

Use the following guidelines:

1. Do you identify as neurodivergent or mentally ill? *

  • Yes, Mentally Ill
  • Yes, Neurodivergent
  • Yes, both
  • I’m not sure, but I feel strongly that I may fit into either category.

2. Please describe the article you would like to pitch. We are accepting all forms of fiction and non-fiction prose at this time.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • Pieces accepted for publication will be compensated at 20 cents (USD) per word. *
