The Team: As part of the Technology, Media and Telecom group, you will work closely with a veteran editorial staff dedicated to producing in-depth reporting and data-driven analysis on Big Tech and telecommunications companies, from Facebook and Google to Verizon and AT&T. Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $38.4k to $79.7k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

Responsibilities:
- Report breaking news with timeliness and accuracy
- Write enterprise stories on key developments within your beat.
- Cover hearings, shareholder meetings, conferences, and other significant events.
- Integrate related data and analysis and partner with research analysts to uncover emerging industry trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues across teams and countries
- Develop relationships with existing sources and build a network of contacts
What we’re looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or equivalent experience
- Ability to write quickly and clearly under deadline pressure
- Ability to generate exclusive, breaking news as well as informative feature stories
- 1-3 years of professional journalism experience; internships in business journalism settings an asset.
- Command of journalistic standard methodology (AP style, libel issues, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the technology and/or telecommunications industries a big advantage
