S&P Global seeks health care reporter

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking enterprising journalists to cover financial, operational and regulatory news related to the healthcare industry.  We have open positions in both our Charlottesville, VA and Arlington, VA newsrooms.

On a day-to-day basis, our reporters combine spot reporting on breaking news with crafting proprietary stories on key industry developments and trends. In addition, reporters provide on-the-ground coverage of hearings, shareholder meetings, conferences and other significant events.

The Impact:
Our real-time, subscription-based news service reaches an influential readership that includes pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare technology firms; their regulators and almost all of Wall Street’s leading investment banks. Our database, with comprehensive coverage of the market, regulatory and corporate data that impacts our sectors, offers ample opportunities to enhance and drive that reporting.

The Career Opportunity:
You will have a tremendous opportunity to grow personally and professionally in this role. Reporters cover their beat on a daily basis, allowing them to build a network of contacts, learn about market dynamics, and gain a greater understanding of the healthcare and financial sectors. S&P Global Market Intelligence is unique in that it provides for growth not only within a sector, but also among other sectors within our newsroom, or even other groups and cross-functional teams.
