S&P Global seeks copy editor in Charlottesville

S&P Global Market Intelligence, a premier sector-focused news and information provider, is looking for a top-notch Copy Editor to work a 2-10 p.m. ET shift in its Charlottesville, Va., location.

On a day-to-day basis, our copy editors read stories ranging from breaking news to company earnings to proprietary stories on key industry developments and trends. In addition, copy editors proof graphic elements, such as maps and charts, and newsletters.

Our real-time, subscription-based news service reaches an influential readership that includes major institutional investors, regulators and almost all of Wall Street’s leading investment banks. Our massive database, with comprehensive coverage of the market, regulatory and corporate data that impacts our sectors, offers ample opportunities to enhance and drive that reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism
  • 1-2 years of copy editing experience
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
