S&P Global seeks a reporter, economics, markets & trade

The successful candidate will work closely with editors and journalists around the globe, with a focus on North America and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will work closely with editors and journalists around the globe, with a focus on North America and Europe
  • The Impact: Your focus on data-driven, unique analysis of trends in the economy, markets and credit provide critical information and insights on many of the defining questions of the moment and years ahead
  • Develop a robust network of industry and professional contacts
  • As a reporter, you will help drive our coverage strategy, build a network of contacts, and gain a strong understanding of economies, markets and credit
  • You will have an opportunity to expand our coverage of these topics, build readership among our clients and have your work cited by other leading business outlets

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional journalism experience
  • Strong writing and reporting skills, along with excellent news judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute story ideas
  • Knowledge of bond and stock markets and key economic indicators in major economies
  • Knowledge of the mandates and functions of the Federal Reserve and other global central banks
  • Demonstrated analytical and data visualization experience
  • 5+ years professional journalism experience

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,800 to $124,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
