WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling and engaging articles that showcase the mission and values of SoAct. Successful Journalist candidates will enjoy conducting research and analysis and should enjoy working with a variety of individuals to create dynamic content. Candidates should enjoy working independently and have exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Robust understanding of investigative writing

Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with others
Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

Construct high-quality articles covering a variety of compelling and engaging topics relevant to the mission and values of the company.
Conduct market research to identify topics of interest within the target audience.
Collect and analyze data and information for use as supporting evidence.
Conduct professional interviews and correspondence with a variety of individuals and record first-hand accounts to provide credibility within articles.
Create and implement editorial calendars to improve organizational outcomes.
Accurately proof articles prior to publication and make edits as required.

QUALIFICATION

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Journalism: 1 year (Preferred)
Driver’s License (Preferred)
US work authorization (Preferred)
