The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University is searching for an accomplished media professional who is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of financial and business journalists in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be a distinguished financial journalist who has international experience, knowledge, ambition and leadership skills to develop an internationally renowned program in financial journalism education. He or she will teach courses introducing skills and knowledge in financial journalism, help students understand financial and business concepts, and impart skills in collecting and assessing financial information and data. He or she should be firmly grounded in journalistic practice, and fully conversant with the legal and ethical responsibilities of a financial journalist. Ability to teach other journalism courses in the School is expected.
The successful candidate will have strong professional experience producing content across various news platforms in a multimedia environment. He or she must have demonstrable aptitude in teaching, preferably with several years of successful teaching experience. This individual should also have the ability to work as part of a team and have interest in leading international programs and advising student projects.

This is a multi-year, non-tenure-track position. A post-graduate degree is a must.
