7News is seeking a bold, energetic, and creative Multi-Platform Content Producer to join our team! Our Multi-Platform Content Producers pitch and produce original 7 News On Your Side content for WJLA.com and social media platforms as well as help gather information for the newsroom. We are looking for top-quality journalists who know how to speak to our multimedia audiences.
The ideal candidate will be a journalist who is smart, curious, and a self-starter with strong news judgment and attention to detail. We want producers with working knowledge of how to reach and interact with large audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Our team is made up of content producers who collaborate and work with colleagues across the newsroom. Above all, we are seeking a driven, creative candidate who works well under pressure, believes in digital-first journalism, and can help guide the newsroom in digital-first initiatives.
