Select (NBC News) is looking for writers

Select at NBCNews, is looking for writers to submit short and simple personal recommendations to reported guides (we’re focused on tech and wellness). They are also looking for recommendations that reflect realities for BIPOC shoppers that may not fit neatly into the above.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Select aims to provide its readers with quality service journalism and comprehensive consumer advice so they can make informed decisions and choose the right products for their lives. Its shopping guides and recommendations are based on in-depth reporting and research that comprises interviewing experts in the field, tracking shopping trends and demystifying jargon and marketing language.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.
