Handle technology news coverage for Seeking Alpha’s Breaking News service. From AAPL to ZBRA, cover important news events for tech stocks large and small, whether earnings reports, acquisitions, market-moving upgrades and downgrades, or major product launches and partnerships.

Monitor financial news services, tech news sites, corporate press releases, RSS feeds, and Twitter for major business news and insightful commentary, and relay what truly matters via Breaking News’ short-form bullet format, thereby providing real-time updates to hundreds of thousands of e-mail alert and mobile push notification subscribers.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A strong familiarity with financial markets in general, and tech stocks in particular.
  • The ability to write quickly, concisely, and accurately about breaking news events, while maintaining a conversational style and not losing sight of the “big picture.”
  • The ability to quickly grasp what does and doesn’t move tech stocks, and what is and isn’t likely to have a meaningful impact a company’s top and bottom lines.
  • The ability to multitask between monitoring news sources and writing short-form news updates, while prioritizing the most important stories and coordinating with fellow team members when needed.
  • Comfort with discussing the details of financial statements, SEC filings, and noteworthy consumer and enterprise technologies.
  • Good headline-writing skills.

This is a telecommuting/work-from-home position. If interested, please send a resume, along with responses to the following questions, to dana@seekingalpha.com:
