The Bay Area News Group, which includes the San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times and Oakland Tribune, is looking for a reporter to help us cover the Silicon Valley, including the companies based here and the technologies they are developing.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with daily news coverage and enterprise, has a grasp of the Internet industry and the impact it is having on the world, has experience covering a beat and a demonstrated ability to break news. Experience as a business reporter is desirable but not critical, but 3-5 years daily newspaper experience or its equivalent is necessary.
Interested? Send your resume and 3-5 clips to Stephen R. Trousdale, Business Editor, strousdale@bayareanewsgroup.com.
