The successful candidate will combine graceful writing, analytical skills and the resourcefulness to report on well-publicized companies amid strong competition. Google will be a focus, as will issues including encryption, cybersecurity, and access to broadband.
The job involves producing content for digital and print platforms for the San Jose Mercury News and the Bay Area News Group, the region’s largest news organization.
Two years of business/technology reporting experience and five years total of journalism experience preferred.
