The Bay Area News Group, which includes the San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times and Oakland Tribune, is looking for a reporter to cover the social networking industry, which includes Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with daily news coverage and enterprise, has a grasp of social media and the impact it is having on the world, has experience covering a beat and a demonstrated ability to break news.
Experience as a business reporter is desirable but not critical, but 3-5 years daily newspaper experience or its equivalent is necessary.
Interested? Send your resume and 3-5 clips to Stephen R. Trousdale, Business Editor, strousdale@bayareanewsgroup.com.
